Absolutely! Would have been awesome with a competition between the Martians and Venutians. Cave dwellers vs Cloud dwellers.

I was one of these stories I wanted to develop. I was thinking what would Star Wars look like if you tried to make it realistic. Instead of a galactig empire I guess one would settle for a solar system empire.

What would be cool with such a story is that the manners in which you live on different planets in the solar system will be vastly different, a Mars, Moon and Venus colony would have vastly different upsides and downsides. The moon base would have easy access to metals but poor access to plastics. Venus would be the opposite. Mars would be a more like Earth but still depend on underground dwellings.
