Are you thinking as a writer or reader?

I will definitely stick around at Medium as that is where I got most of my followers. I will publish mostly the same articles on both Medium and Substack.

The benefit of Substack I guess would be for people who are less interested in all the other stuff on Medium and primarily interested in what I write.

My concern is of course also that Medium as a platform regresses. I don't make as much now as before on the current arrangement, and the tools for writers have become a lot more messy to use. It is a big dangerous to put all your eggs in one basket.

Hence I want to explore other platforms to also put my content on. Substack is the hottest candidate at the moment but I am also looking at Ghost and micro.blog.

I am definitely interested in hearding any suggestions. Raffey in one of the earlier comments here, recommended Aeon.
