Awesome you took the trouble of digging up these old articles. I got some old BYTE magazines from the 80s and early 90s stached away somwhere which I need to dig out and see if there are interesting stuff for today.

It is funny how stuff that was written maybe last year isn't all that interesting today but once you look at stuff written quite far back it becomes interesting as you get a sense of perspective not easily achieved otherwise. What did people think back then? What did they think about the future? The things they thought was going to be revolutionary then but didn't become a big deal or the things that seemed insignificant then but became huge in the future.
