Bigelow and BFR

Great point about using inflatable modules with BFR. Very exiting times ahead. I think we haven’t even managed to imagine all the possibilities a cheap and much larger rockets gives.

I would speculate though that building a self sustainable space station will be much easier with more room.

What I would really like to see is a space station with a rotating part, to create artificial gravity using centrifugal forces. Once you got some gravity it should be much easier to get plants to grow the right way and get all sorts of equipment such as 3D printers to work.

Today everything gets overcomplicated by having to be made and tested for zero-gravity. I would assume it would be much easier and cheaper to use systems designed for gravity.
