Btw I think there are very few countries where government makes most of the purchases.

You seem to ignore a key part why consumers are such a big part of the US economy: It is because the US is a very large and mature economy.

That means unlike China most resources are not spent building up industry.

And unlike small countries like the Nordics, very small part of the economy is export oriented.

But I am sure this isn’t news to people with Economics degrees…
