But I like the Python approach even less than curly braces. I am not argue for a Python solution here. I am arguing in favor of using keywords like end.

My preferences is for stuff like begin...end, next on the list would be curly braces and then the Python/Nim/Haskell solution would be dead last.

I am fine with newlines instead of semicolons. But marking blocks with indentation of whitespace is just asking for trouble IMHO.

As you say, it really makes copy-paste work really badly.
