Don’t really agree with much of what you wrote but you still wrote a good article. I did love the movie and I did indeed make a comparison with Dr. Strangelove when reviewing the movie. Guess I am not the only one seeing the connection.

Yes, they are profoundly different movies but they are both mocking how us humans are reacting to a crisis which threatens to end us.

And even Dr. Strangelove was more critical of conservatives. It was a lot about the typical right-wing irrational red scare.

Yes, a lot of us get climate change, but the movie isn’t trying to inform us about that. It is trying to get us to see how our whole overall reaction to it is so messed up at every level whether partisanship, media or indifference.
