Don't take our disagreement personal. This isn't a criticism of you as a person. I am simply disagreeing with your take on world history.

Just because I disagree doesn't mean I am not willing to hear your counterpoints. I only disagree as long as I don't find the arguments convincing. I have made my case why I didn't not find your arguments convincing.

If you didn't find my response fair or you think I misunderstood your point, I very much encourage you to clarify.

But I want you to make the case. As I said before insisting I read books to align with your perspective is IMHO a lazy way of arguing. If it is clear to you where my reasoning goes wrong, you should be able to point it out yourself without deferring to books. If you want to you can quote relevant passages. I will not do the job for you reading hundreds of pages to find passage which agree with your view.

Just because the arguments are in a published book doesn't make them any more credible than what I write. Anybody who writes have to be able to make their case regardless of their name. I don't accept the logical fallacy of "Appeal to authority."
