Exactly, I am not talking about how specifically units are moved around on the battlefield in Ukraine. I wouldn't know that.
I was also a never a higher ranking officer so I cannot comment on specifics of military strategies.
What I can relate to however is how I was trained as a soldier and what I heard and read about training for other people.
I came to understand the value of drilling all sorts of mundane tasks as well as how effectiveness of any unit relies heavily on your ability too communicate and coordinate. I am relating that experience to what commanders are remarking about the deficiencies of Russiand and Arab armies in terms of training and command structure.
