Hehehe, yeah I don't get lots of readers or followers for the arcane stuff I write about it. But my stories on microprocessors have been very popular. In particular my coverage of the Apple M1 processor blew up big time.

Basically a lot of people wanted to understand what the M1 was all about an a lot of articles out there at the time were either very shallow in their coverage or way too difficult for beginners to understand. I choose to write a beginner friendly article that went into depth about what made the M1 run so fast. It seems like that was some sort of magic formula. There was actually a lot of wall street analyst types of guys who wanted to read that to better understand the technology.

Other than that there has been various programming articles which have been popular. I think I had a lot of people who hate read my story on why Java and C# was obsolete. That was an interesting experience.... Lots of readers while it felt like everybody was complaining about what I wrote.

Also some of my writing on Elon Musk. Stuff like the Cybertruck and SpaceX has been popular.

But I write for fun, so I cannot just write what I know is popular. Hence it ends up with a fair amount of arcane stuff which I don't think has a large audience.

But I must say I have been surprised by the number of people who read my story on how to calculate lift capacity of a Zeppelin. I have even aided students who wanted to repeat my calculations. That was really bizzare.
