Here is what I don't get about your view on this Taru: Finland fought a bloody war against the USSR, the Winter War, and eventually decided to ceased massive amounts for territory to the USSR to get peace. Do think that was the wrong decisions? Should Finland have fought to the last man?
There was nothing fair about what the Soviet Union did to Finland but it did buy Finnish freedom albeit at a high cost. Withot that decision you would have been like the Baltics and lived 50 years under Soviet rule.
I know there are people living in Russian occupied territories, but this is a chance for a future for the Ukrainians that remain. Russia has taken a heavy beating and now there is a chance of negotiating a good deal without too many concesions.
As time progress it seems Ukraine is loosing more territory. Maybe they can win in the end but at what cost? How much of Ukraine is destroyed by the time that happens?
