I added stuff to the article, because of people such as yourself complaining. One complained that the stuff I mentioend was not foundational stuff.

Well very few things today are entirely new. Things tend to have a long history. One commenter complained that I just covered improvements on existing products and that I had not covered a major field that European initiated.

To do that you really have to go further back in time. Many of the products from the last 60 years have a backhistory that can go far back. That underscores the conclusion to my story: Making a pissing contest about inventions or innovation is generally quite stupid. Usually people from a diverse set of countries have contributed over many decades to creating the modern incarnations of various products we use today.
