About COIVD19, I don't think you can really talk about the West. Outcomes have varied too much from different strategies.

I think you are saying the West here while you actually mean the US and the UK. Many Western countries have had quite good response to COIVD19. The US and the UK just stood out as two countries which made some really bad strategic decisions.

COIVD19 has become a worse problem in Russia, so not sure if you can single out the West here. Brazil is even worse.
