I am talking about complex GUI applications for professionals. In this space nobody cares about Responsive design. I mean applications of similar or larger complexity than Godot IDE itself such applications are useless on small screens. Theses are inherently desktop applications which require mouse and keyboard for interaction.

Constant rendering will often be less of a problem because these kinds of apps often have such complex update and synchronization mechanisms that you often risk killing performance by triggering too many updates.
