I know C# has pointers, but they are so limited in capability that I would not count C# as a langauge supporting pointers (Most language have some sort of rudementary support for pointers).

It simply does not allow you to do the things people accustomed to pointer based programming would do. Go has a much stronger support for pointers which actually allows you to do useful stuff.
