That is almost exactly what I stated in my article and which I have struggled to get across to you. I am glad we are mostly on the same page.

I have however added a little twist to this in that I think Elon Musk himself has become slightly more sympathetic to the right and has seen benefits in appearing to be more of a right-winger than he actually is.

But againt that doesn't mean he had fundamentally changed as a person inside. But I have never claimed anything else.

I think you have read a lot of different ideas into my writing than I have. I would advice you to re-read the article in this light and see if you may have misinterpreted it the first time around.
