If they want to blame western values then they can go ahead and do that but don’t blame people for being white. I can agree or disagree with particular western values but I am not accepting blame for anything anyone has done simply because I share skin color with them.

Also when people blame western values they all too often talk about values and cultural traits which are particular to the US. There are certainly values Western people share with the US such as belief in democracy, free speech and individualism.

But when people go on about the whole West being bad because of Donald Trump, then they ignore that elections and democratic traditions vary widely across the whole West. American problems are not necessarily Western problems.
