Indeed, Go is not perfect but a lot of arguments against Go are just shockingly ignorant. While I accept Java has many advantages in terms of community, tools etc, there seems to be this arrogant attitude that only Java can be used for large “real” systems and the new kids on the block like Go are just cute toys for hobby projects.
