Yet when our whole infrastructure is collapsing and paying higher wages to blue collar workers could have fixed it, then all we hear from those same kind of “experts” is crickets.
It is the same deal with schools. One complains about the quality, while refusing to acknowledged that higher pay would have attracted more qualified and better skilled people. It is as if supply/demand only exists when it benefits the 1%. All other times it is about looking for every possible alternative explanation. Anything, just anything that will prevent them from paying a decent wage.
