Interesting, such different experiences. The Netherlands e.g. is perhaps my best life experience ever. I go back there every other year when I have a chance. But I studied and lived there for 3 years which probably change perspective compared to just visiting as a tourist.

Also I love history, architecture, countryside etc. Biking around wind mills and canals in the Dutch countryside from one pancake house to another is awesome in my opinion.

Lots of interesting things about Germany. I found Berlin fascinating, but ultimately I like Dutch people more and things like cafes and shops just seem to be nicer in the Netherlands than in Germany. German grocery stores are way too austere in my view.

Personally I cannot say I like Greece that much. I much more prefer Spain. Yes Greek people are very friendly and there are lot of nice looking places. But I am not fond of not being able to use toilets properly. That a lot of stuff is kind of broken. Dogs roaming around in packs. Yes, there is perhaps some charm to the chaos, but I guess I prefer Spain. You get the pretty beaches but combined with a society which works really well and where you also has some really stunning architecture and history. Sure Greece has history but not as well preserved as Spain.

In Spain you got splendid cities like Barcelona, with beautiful architecture, great public transport and all sorts of activities and variety of food and restaurants.

But sure you pay for all that. It is not necessarily a cheap destination like it use to be.
