Interesting, thanks for sharing Anton. I didn't know how the immigration programs work in the US. Like here there is no such thing as an immigration program per say. You apply for a job, and if you get it then you can get a residence permit.

There are a number of Russian living here as there has been efforts to foster good relations with Russia given that we are neighbours.

My father taught foreigners Norwegians. I believe he remarked on Russias sticking out as very quick learners of Norwegian. My childhood best friend is married to a Russia, and it is impossible to hear an accent. I could even swear the body language is Norwegian as well. Like there is is no way to tell.

But yeah it is harder to go to a smaller country. Like I can imagine a large country like the US there are special stores catering to different immigrant groups. Can you find Russia food where you live e.g.?

I don't think that is easy here. We have a lot of Polish people but not that much Polish food. I noticed when visiting the UK e.g. that there was a lot more Polish food in the stores.
