It is real hard. I have some conservative relatives in the US. Outside of politics they are wonderful people. But it is hard to really see someone as truly good when they loudly supports an absolutely horrible human being.

It makes you wonder if they have truly horrible morals or a perhaps more like victims. Some kind of weird Stockholm syndrome, where it becomes impossible to recognize and obvious abuser.

But we see the same in Germany after WW2. A large number of people who lived through the Nazi years, refused to acknowledge what a horrible man Hitler was. They got all the facts on the table about the horrors he had committed but still refused to believe it.

I don’t know how you make people snap out of that. I don’t blame Trump alone on this. Rather conservative media mike FOX has played a major role in brainwashing people.

It is an emotional game, where facts no longer matter.
