My God Anil, do you serious buy the Russian propaganda in that Unz Review?

It conveniently skips over the fact that Russia has taken heavy casualties. It skips over the brutal siege tactics and shelling of cities that Russia engages in.

It skips over the fact that Ukraine has taken lots of Russian tanks and now have more tanks than when the war started.

No mention of all Russian generals killed.

No mention of Ukraine retaking territory.

Instead it tries to spin this tale about how quickly Russia took territory, ignoring that they executed a Blitz operatio to take Ukraine in a couple of days. The US spent longer time in Iraq and Afganistan because they moved forward meticulously securing all towns and cities they encountered instead of a Blitz. And the American approach actually worked. They took all major town with minimal casualties unlike Russia.

Russia in contrast swooped in and then got stuck in the mud for weeks afterwards. Now they are pulling back from Kiev having failed their objectives.
