Okay captain obvious. Everybody gets that what Putin does isn't justified and that Ukrainians don't want to be ruled by Putin. You are stating the bloody obvious.

As basis for analysis of this whole complex situation you treat Putin as a misbehaving child for whom we must put boundaries. Forget everything about the complexities of history, culture, politics and security policy. No Paul here has the perfect tool to analyze Putin: Putin is just a toddler having a fit. We must just give him some firm boundaries so he learns to behave.
