Okay, so stating that communism and fascism was different ideologies equals being a Stalinist?

You are using a cheap rethorical device to paint me as a Stalin apologist, when you should very well know that in all my writing I oppose dictatorship and champion democracy.

I am an advocate of mild justice systems, places like Halden prison, not horrendous Gulags.

You seem like the kind who eagerly want to apply the slippery slope argument about communism. That anyone who is a communist is essentially the same as a Nazi. Not to mention that modern communists have reformed, while there really is no way to reform Fascism or Nazism. The fundamental idea is evil at its core.

Communism is much more an example of "the road to hell is paved with good intentions." Nazism and Fascism didn't even have good intentions.

And to clarify, I am not a communist, so why do I care? Because I know the slippery slope argument around communism is frequently used on the right as a rethorical tool to smear anyone with socialst leanings. Also because I have met plenty of communists who are prefectly decent people. I simply don't believe their ideas would ever work.

I cannot say I have met very many "nice" Nazis.
