Racism is about generalizing all people based on some external marker like skin color. It is ironic that an article complaining about racism generalize a whole people and use it to justify his indifference to their suffering.

This is no different than implying that every Muslim is a terrorist.

A lot of people don’t necessarily know what the N-word means outside of America. When I grew up nobody used the N-word over here. But kids have picked it up in recent years due to the massive exposure of American media.

It is a big problem that so much American pop culture uses the N-word. It is America itself and frequently African-Americans who are teaching many European kids the N-word.

They often don’t know what it means other than that it is bad. They can say it to anyone. You don’t have to be black to be called the N-word. My wife recently got called the N-word by a bunch of kids and she is not black.
