Socialists have been elected into power ever since the 1920s in Europe without creating dictatorship. In fact German democracy was created by socialists. So your idea that socialism equals dictatorship is just pure nonsense. The only time a socialist movement has lead to dictatorship has been cases where it has overturned a previous dictatorship.
There are plenty of examples of Fascists ending democracy but no examples of Socialists doing it, with the possible exception being Venezuela, but that state is such an outlier in every respect.
It is ironic you mention Chile as the one overthrown was a democratically elected socialists. He did not introduced a dictatorship which is what you try to imply all socialists do.
And implying Pinochet is the worst of capitalism is silly. Capitalist Britain got tens of millions of Indians to die.
Capitalist US, basically committed a genocide on the whole native population. California e.g. paid 5 dollars for every Native American man, women or child killed.
Belgium committed terrible atrocities in the Congo… not exactly in the name of socialism and collectivism.
