Sure, but not every language related to the other as a hammer to a screw driver. Frequently a new language is a better hammer than the hammer you used to have.

At other times a new language may make you aware of the fact that you have been using the equivalent of a screw driver to hammer in nails, and now this new language is actually offering you an actual hammer!

That is kind of my pont in this article. C# and Java are tools not really tailored for the jobs you needs in the current landscape.

It is like carrying around a huge toolbelt filled with tools which have become obsolete. Sure you can still do the job that is asked of you, but you are adding complexity and weight to the task a much simpler toolbelt could have done the job just as well. Why weigh yourself down?
