Sure, I am writing from a Nordic perspective. I think that is a useful in an internet world where an American anglo perspective is often taken for granted.
Companies are legal entities defined by society, and I think it is natural that we think about how we structures these artificial constructs in any given society. It cannot be irrelevant how the influence inhabitants.
I think in the Anglo world there is too much focus on companies as just entities for shareholders to put their money and make money as if companies don't involved lots of other people.
My focus on government is natural I think in that government is the only way you and me really have in influencing change. We can elect representatives or even run for office. Most other parts of society humans cannot to the same degree influence them. Certainly not in a democratic fashion.
Non-government institutions are important but there is often a symbiotic relation. Many of those institutions can be weakened or strengthened by choices made in government.
