I honestly had not really thought a lot about it myself until when I saw the video and started realizing that it fit into a pattern I had seen over and over again.

I follow a bit the debate on scientific racism, and I see the hereditarians who sort of try to resurect old racist ideas about supremacy of white people often invoke these ideas around the cold countries leading to evolution of smarter people.

Thus when seeing pretty liberal people mindlessly push the same stuff, it kind of got my alarmbells going.
