Thanks Philip! I think what is happening with ChatGPT and other AI is quite exciting and wanted to do some reflection on it but I also noticed that everybody and their dog is currently doing that.

My passion is about history, politics, society as well as technology so I wanted to try to look at how all of this fits in historically. I think there is still a lot more interesting things that could have been said about this. Especially if one starts to dig up a lot of the hopes and dreams of AI that people had back in the 1980s. Many things did work out back then but was never accessible consumers.

Whatever way the AI winds blow this time at least we as consumers finally got some cool AI at our fingertips. Previous AI false starts didn't really give us much as consumers.
