That is the big question I guess. Is Microsoft going to let the Macs run Windows? In the past it was a no brainer. But what to do if Mac is the clearly superior hardware platform? Microsoft could risk that Apple completely controls the hardware platform Windows must run on.

For Linux the problem is that Apple may not open up about the hardware letting people create drivers. As much as I like Apple I think they are their own worst enemies in many areas. The could have had so much strong mindshare in the developer community if they played more nicely with Linux. They should let Linux be a first class citizen. If they don’t want to open up hardware at least make binary Linux drivers.
