This isn’t about the general utility of any random language. It is a story particularly addressing why I don’t think C++ is a good substitute for C. I wrote it because people keep bringing up C++ when I talk about what I think are good candidates to replace C in the future.

But seriously, why do we got to write nice about a programming language? It is not like it had feelings.

I prefer to write nice about people. I do not see the problem with being negative about a technology, car brand, political ideology, shoe brand…. and yes programming languages.

Do you speak positive about everything Matt? You never have some software of technology that drives you crazy?
