This just makes me pissed off. Those journalists and politicians should be ashamed of themselves for tearing down young women with ambition.

It was a lot of negative stuff in the 1980s in Norway I remember with our first female prime minister Gro Harlem Bruntland. You don't see so much negativity in the press about female politicians, but on social media there is a lot of mysognists who hate on young female politicians, especially if they have any kind of immigrant background.

The leader of the Green party in Norway, is a very charismatic half Vietnamese young women. She is always smiling and positive. I don't agree with her politically at all, but that is fine we don't have to agree, I can still respect her as a person. It really pisses me off that people direct so much nasty hate towards her for simply having a different opinion from them on how society should be run.

We have come far in the Nordics on gender equality but the fight is far from over. There is still work to be done on attitudes among a low of people. Fortunately I think these attitudes are relatively rare among the young.
