This sudden pre-occupation with making liberalism the enemy is bizzare. It is pretty clear that nativism, conservatism, fascism and Nazism played a far more significant role in advancing racism than liberalism.

Quite the contrary the abolitionists where liberals and it was their view of people as individuals that advanced the fight against the most grotesque forms of racism.

And even if you won this argument and everybody said "you are so right," then so what? Where does that get you. Nowhere? The whole "white fragility" cult does not seem to have anything concrete to offer.

Quite the contrary it is destructive. It gives the far-right a new toy to play with. New accusations to hurl at the left about how stupid we are. While the real enemy is just laughing, eating popcorn and watching the left tear itself apart a meta physical debate about racism.
