True, so this is really just a hypothetical. You know people love all these silly comparisons such as who would win in a battle between a knight and a samurai. Never going to happen but people still love that kind of speculation.

Nordic countries are presently not all in the same alliance so despite are closeness politically, economically and historically it is not realistically the entity that would face Russia directly in an actual battle.

Honestly I think we need to stop being so afraid of Russia. Their nuclear weapons is certainly a BIG problem. But their armed forces have a lot less teeth than many assumed. Even if the US was not part of the war, European NATO members alone should have no problem beating Russia to pulp. All have significantly better weapons and better training. Not to mention better run and more effective governments.
