Typora vs iA Writer and Linux

Yes I also discovered Typora a bit later. I have been switching a bit back and forth between iA Writer and Typora.

I am however spending most time in iA Writer, mainly because it is closer in experience to using Ulysses. However I agree that Typora really renders beautifully.

Actually my math shows better in iA Writer than in Typora. Typora seems to have some edge cases where it chokes.

I very nice bonus for Typora IMHO is that it also exists for Linux. I check in on Ubuntu ocassionally to see how it is doing. Linux is kind of my backup plan if Apple drops the ball on us developers and more technically oriented users.

While I love Apple hardware I am not happy with the selection. I miss a more pratical larger box, where I have a wider choice of what I put inside it. I wish they had something like the beautiful G4 Tower still around.

I have an Ubuntu box with a whole bunch of extra hard drives and blue-ray burner and something like that would have just turned into mess with what Apple currently sells.
