We spend more on lipstick, smoking, gambling and frozen pizza each than on space exploration. Yet nobody gets worked up about this waste that does nothing for humanity. Yet space exploration which has brought us so much in terms of science, understanding of the universe and modern conveniences is a always a favorite target by people with the most shallow analysis of what our problems are and what space exploration is about.

There are many problems with Bezos and Musk, but their space exploration is the least of them.
