Well you know exploring new interesting technology is almost as fun, as making snide remarks about those who do 😜.

But honestly I am very happy with using Julia. Zig is mainly an interesting side project, which I can see as useful in my AVR/Arudino and toy game engine development.

I don't see Zig as a big part of my software development. But if you don't like exploring new technology, then why on eart work as a programmer in the first place?
