When you to to the point where the CEO started with his conspiracy laced theories about COVID-19, I knew EXACTLY where this was going.
Having debated white conservative racists on social media more than I should, I have gotten really good at telling the signs.
People with very strong opinions often anti-government and conspiratorial almost without except turns out to be some kind of racist in my experience.
I don't think that is an accident. People who don't think government has any value, tend to think individuals are entirely masters of their own destiny, and will reject systemic problems as existing at all.
That does not just apply to institutionalized racism. But they will also tend to blame poor people for their plight, not acknowledging that the system is often rigged against them.
People like that are ego-maniacs who want to take credit for all success they have had. They don't want to attribute anything to growing up in a good neighbourhood, having good parents, gone to good schools or simply being lucky.
No their success is all self made, and so is the failure of others. I think in general we are far too tolerating of these people.
