Yeah and I sometimes wonder if a lot of these people ranting endlessly about "evil white people" even seriously want to tackle racism.

Like they undermine the fight of racism so much. People like that push away a lot of whites who would be very willing to help their cause. But a lot of people aren't that interested in aiding people who constantly villify them.

Personally have told myself: I am not going to let people like that ruin it for minorities who do in fact face prejudice. But you kind of have to call out these people sometimes. They don't realize that they often end up being useful idiots for white supremacists.

I think many are driven more by emotions than tactical considerations: Like what is going to have most impact... what will help change attitudes the most.

You look at people like Nelson Mandela. He had every reason to hate on Boers for what he went through, yet he chose to focus on what can unite people rather than what can divide them and he was extremely successful because of it.
