Yeah I notice myself, that I oscilate a lot in my views on dynamic and static typing. Recent experiences with JavaScript, has made me really miss static typing.

On the other hand static typing can also be really annoying. Finding the sweet spot is an art.

I personally think that Go found a very good balance. I am quite excited to see what generics in Go will be like. I mean I know the syntax they will use, but I still don't know what it will "feel" like when building real programs.
