Yeah it will be interesting to see. I also think if making a macOS version of the software is almost just a single click of a setting, then likely more people will consider releasing their software as Mac software.

It could create some interesting dynamic, if Mac users are suddenly using native Apps while Windows users are using the web version. Windows users may start demanding that the get native Apps as well which could create a renesaince for native App development.

I would not mind as I prefer that over web development.
