Yeah, sorry I have been trying to relocate the video where Andrew talked about this to give more context, but I have had no luck. I don’t know if const expression in C++ was there when he started Zig or whether the scope was smaller. Constexpr was certainly not a thing when I was actively doing C++ development, but I know it exists. My impression had just been that it is far more limited. Maybe I am wrong.
