Yeah, that sounds like my worry too. I have likened Elon Musk to those rock stars who cannot handle all the success and fandom. They get high on cocaine, crash and burn. Elon Musk I am afraid will get high on his on fandom and crash and burn.

He has his past achievements, but I fear his legacy will not end up looking that pretty if he continues down the path he is on. I did write an article earlier about how bizarre it is that he is becoming a conservative icon. They guy who pushed EVs and solar panels is becoming a hero to people who deny that there is such a thing as man made climate change. Reality is stranger than fiction.
