Yeah the whole "whitness" concept is utterly bizzare. Can we just please get rid of it? What purpose does it serve?

Has it ever helped anyone? Has it ever illuminated an issue? Nope, it obsures rather than illumuniates.

Focus on concrete stuff: Discrimination in the justice system, by police, the voting system etc.
