Yes Abrahamic religions are terrible with how they are used to oppress women. While Christianity has been very busy in using Bible verses to oppress women, there is still a sort of ranking where I think we can say that the Quran has established an even more misogynistic practice than eve the Bible thumpers.

But my empathy is with muslims who got born into this. They didn't always have much choice. The whole family belong to the faith. They grew up with it.
