Yes you can of course steal farmland by expanding your borders. I was thinking more in terms of what you do with fixed borders. Within the borders Norway currently has we cannot really improve the agricultural situation much.

In this article I wasn't really focused on selling the Nordic system. I was primarily focused on disproving the myth that the American capitalist system somehow is superior in terms of generating GDP. It may very well be the case, but the fact that the US has higher GDP than Nordics today doesn't prove that given the points I outlined.
