You have to look at people's experiences rather than purely their speculations. I never assumed that Philip Low has the right analysis of everything. You don't need to trust every word of a single individual but once you tally up the stories of multiple individuals it becomes something you cannot easily dismiss.

I didn't think power was that important to Elon Musk before, but reading other parts of how he has operated over the years suggests that he is indeed quite power hungry. Now that power may be to reach his goals, but he is still willing to go too far to aquire that power regardless of what the ultimate goal is.
